Since 2004 the Navarre Krewe of Jesters has awarded
$18,000 in scholarships to deserving Navarre High School
graduates. In spring of 2008 we hope to award a
$4000 scholarship to a graduating Navarre High School
senior.
The target student will be a student that:
- Would not necessarily be eligible for many of the other scholarships offered.
- Has had hardships in their life that they have overcome but that may have prevented them from being the recipient of many of the other scholarships offered.
- Does not necessarily have the means available to them to pay for continued education but has aspirations to obtain post high school education.
The Navarre Krewe of Jesters feels that there are many deserving
students that do not have as great of an opportunity at receiving many
of the other scholarships as do those with high grade point averages
or other attributes that seem to favor the recipients of many scholarships.
We are looking for that special person that has the drive to excel
in life, but perhaps, has not had the opportunity. We offer to that
person a scholarship of $1,000.00 a year for four years. These funds
will help pay for books, tuition or other legitimate expenses the student
may suffer while trying to better their life by obtaining a high level
of education.

Applications must be turned in by the graduating student,
complete with all attachments no later than the 1st day of
the 2nd semester of each school year to be considered for
that school year.
"For the 2008/09 scholarship year applications must
be received by the Navarre Krewe of Jesters no later than
1 February 2008."
